Non-Profits Panel identify SMS Texting as Preferred Donor Communications Channel
SMS is increasingly assuming the same position that email did almost a decade ago. By using SMS, nonprofits can build databases of their supporters and donors and establish an interaction with them through simple text messages. Simply by adding a unique keyword charities are able to track the effectiveness of media channels, where for success text based campaigns must be integrated across media as an integrated effort. Additionally, SMS texting is a very cost-effective channel, being inexpensive compared to other media channels.
